Plumbing Estimate Toilet

To give a plumbing estimate on the toilet we have not included the materials and estimates are based on the allowed time given.

  • 101 - Replace Toilet. (To fit a toilet which is estimated at 2 hours this will cost £130)
  • 101/a - Fit toilet seat. (Sorry this will come under the minimum cost of £90 even though this is a 20 minute job)
  • 101/b - Replace standard syphone. (To replace a toilet syphone this can be done within the hour unless the nuts below the toilet are curoded and may need more time resulting in extra expence if required and is estimate at £90) 1 hour
  • 101/c - Replace syphone hook. (To replace the hook on the syphon this would cost the minimum of 1 hour including the call out fee of £90)
  • 101/d - Float Operating Valve. (To replace the float operating valve this will cost £90) 1 hour.

Just above is our estimates as long as there are no complication, some of the complication come when either the toilet was not fitted correctly to start with or the surrounding plumbing is not to what is should be. Maybe the engineer is unable to get the toilet syphone and needs to use more specialised equipment such as the dremol. When replacing a part in the toilet it is normally a good idea to take a picture and send it of to the engineer just incase the part that is required become a bigger or time waiting due to the stock available. With a float operating valve or what is know as the ballcock can be more straight forward as the universal valve are able to fit to most toilets but in some circumstance there may be the odd one that requires a special fitting to the toilet.
