Water stain in my house, do I require an emergency plumber

If you find a water stain in your house you may need an emergency plumber, before making that fatal call, it is very important to check where the stain is located and make sure it isn’t either a roofing or a builders issue. Most stains in the ceiling are found coming from slow leaks coming from the bathroom area. If you find you stain has come and you have recently been getting rain, then it is a good idea to check if the leak is coming from other types of the building rather than your plumbing.

In the picture to the right you will find the top image is due to a water disaster from the past week or so, which was due to a burst pipe in the loft. The second image was a leak coming from the roof through the mortar of the brickwork. The third image was a slow leak from the shower pump. The forth image was a water leak from between the ceiling and the bathroom floor, where the leak was that slow, it was almost impossible to detect.
